You must work hard, take ownership from inception to delivery, and approach every problem with an open mind and a positive attitude. We value effectiveness, competence, and a growth mindset.
About the role
We’re seeking an experienced brand designer to help spearhead the development of our creative identity. You will be responsible for visually telling a fast-evolving company narrative with ample greenfield to break conventions and push creative boundaries. The successful candidate will be part of a small but growing communications team, with the opportunity to work alongside our senior leadership in bringing ideas to life.
Focus
-
Under our Director of Strategic Communications, you will work with a small team in spearheading the company’s broader external identity – in which you will lead the development of a distinct, unique vision for brand design.
-
You will help define, articulate, and update our master brand – spanning design requirements across everything from events, to website, and digital media.
-
Use design principles to create distinct product identities for different offerings, and lead in the development of a compelling subbrand identity.
-
Collaborate with senior and communications stakeholders on how to successfully complement and enhance an evolving verbal identity and wider brand narrative.
About You
-
10+ years of design experience, either as part of an agency or with an in-house brand team, this would ideally come alongside experience working within the AI/software/technology space.
-
You’re comfortable leading the evolution of a visual identity as a part of the organizations’ communications team, alongside working with senior stakeholders on enterprise aims and their ideas around visual grammar.
-
You have a portfolio demonstrating a wide scope of work across different mediums, with the ability to quickly apply design direction across a vast variety of different projects.
-
Experience creating physical and digital design assets for events of all sizes, including by not limited to conferences, expos, and internal events.
-
An understanding of website design, as well as the ability to communicate design strategies to web developers and other stakeholders.
-
Excellent organizational skills, with a willingness to help make design assets accessible to teams across the organization.
-
An interest in designing for social media, and how to produce assets that stand out on different digital platforms.
-
A willingness to push boundaries in a very uniform field, we believe our visual identity will be vital in separating ourselves as a business and brand.
-
Proficiency in Adore Creative Suite (including but not limited to Illustrator, Indesign, Photoshop, and other programmes), and Figma.
Nice to haves
-
A working understanding of motion and animation design – as well as a willingness to collaborate with those who are specialists in these fields.
-
Comfortable leading creative direction as a part of film shoots and motion projects.
-
A basic interest in photography and/or photo editing for social media platforms.
Benefits
-
Competitive total compensation package (salary + equity).
-
Retirement or pension plan, in line with local norms.
-
Health, dental, and vision insurance.
-
Generous PTO policy, in line with local norms.
