We're looking for a flexible, hands-on individual to join our on-site lining team, installing vinyl liners into swimming pools during construction. Working at sites across the country, you'll handle, measure, cut and install vinyl to precise measurements, and heat-weld panels together with handheld heat guns — producing a lining finish that's built to last and looks great. You'll work predominantly in pairs, alongside a knowledgeable and supportive team who are fully invested in bringing you up to speed. This is a genuine trade to learn from the ground up: we provide full 1:1 training, so no previous lining experience is required — just the right attitude and willingness to learn.
What you'll do:
- Handling, measuring, and cutting vinyl liners to precise specifications
- Heat welding and joining vinyl using handheld heat guns
- Ensuring a high-quality, visually impressive finished product
- Working closely with a teammate as part of a two-person onsite lining team
- Meeting tight deadlines while maintaining excellent workmanship
About You:
- Previous hands-on or practical experience (construction, trades, or similar preferred)
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Good communication skills
- The ability to work to tight deadlines
- A high level of flexibility around working hours
- A full UK driving licence (essential)
Working Hours & Travel:
This is a field-based role that calls for flexibility — including longer days and regular overnight stays away from home. In return, all overtime (including travel time) is paid at time and a half, and accommodation and evening meals are fully covered under our expenses policy.
If you’re looking for a practical, varied role with strong team support and genuine development opportunities, we’d love to hear from you.
