Certikin is looking for a dynamic, motivated, high performing Customer Product Support Advisor to join our Commercial Division. The successful candidate will be responsible for dealing with technical enquiries, specifying products and providing quotations on commercial swimming pool products while providing a high level of customer service. Based in our Head Office in Witney, Oxfordshire.

Do you have a technical ability? Or do you have experience within the mechanical and/or electrical industry and are you looking for a challenge within a technical support team? Certikin International is looking for a Customer Technical Support Advisor to help deliver further growth.

The job includes:

  • Liaising with customers and building lasting relationships
  • Handling all customer email and telephone enquiries of a technical and sales nature, promptly and effectively
  • Providing both written and verbal quotations where necessary for products relating to the Commercial Division
  • Dealing with technical enquiries referred by the Sales Order Processing department
  • Receiving and inputting telephone and email orders as a result of quotations
  • Accompanying Divisional Management or other colleagues on customer or supplier visits as appropriate
  • Occasionally attending Trade Shows and Company-led seminars
  • Liaising with Internal & External Sales Executives
  • Promoting product initiatives and assisting in promoting designated lines
  • Maintaining product knowledge in order to influence and develop sales, as well as upselling products
  • Providing documentation as required by the customer such as product specification
  • Maintaining knowledge of the in-house system to effectively deal with enquiries regarding delivery and availability

What will you bring to the role?

  • Previous experience of working in the Swimming Pool industry would be desirable but not essential
  • Previous experience of working in a mechanical/electrical industry would be advantageous but not essential
  • Technical skills, practical thinking and a strong sales focus
  • Strong communication skills
  • Knowledge of account management, or previous sales experience would be advantageous
  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Problem solving and analytical skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft software
  • Ability to function in a high-paced environment
