Certikin is looking for a dynamic, motivated, high-performing Customer Technical Support Advisor to join our Pools Division based in our Head Office in Witney, Oxfordshire. The successful candidate will be responsible for dealing with technical enquiries on swimming pool products and providing a high level of customer service.
Do you have a technical ability or experience within the mechanical and/or electrical industry and are you looking for a challenge within a technical support team?
Responsibilities- Handling all customer email and telephone enquiries of a technical and sales nature, promptly and effectively
- Dealing with technical enquiries referred by the Sales Order Processing department
- Providing quotations where necessary
- Liaising with customers and building lasting relationships
- Receiving and inputting telephone and email orders resulting from quotations and technical advice
- Accompanying Divisional Management or other colleagues on customer or supplier visits as appropriate
- Occasionally attending Trade Shows and Company-led seminars
- Liaising with Internal & External Sales Executives
- Promoting product initiatives and assisting in promoting designated lines
- Maintaining product knowledge to influence and develop sales, and upselling products
- Providing documentation such as product specification to customers
- Maintaining knowledge of the in-house system to effectively deal with enquiries regarding delivery and availability
- Previous experience in the swimming pool industry would be desirable but not essential
- Technical skills, practical thinking and strong sales focus
- Strong communication skills
- Knowledge of account management or previous sales experience would be advantageous
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Problem solving and analytical skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft software
- Ability to function in a high-paced environment
