Role Overview
As Senior Account Manager – Infrastructure, your primary focus will be to grow and retain recurring revenue across a portfolio of infrastructure service clients. You will lead client relationships focused on hardware (\’tin\’) and infrastructure solutions, while also identifying cross-sell opportunities across Managed Services, Cyber Security, and other overlay teams. This hybrid role is based in Sheffield, with flexibility for client site visits and remote work.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of key infrastructure clients and build trusted relationships.
- Lead client review meetings and maintain IT roadmaps and risk registers.
- Track and forecast recurring infrastructure revenue using CRM tools.
- Negotiate contract renewals and amendments to maximise client value.
- Manage the full sales cycle in collaboration with technical and operational teams.
- Present infrastructure strategies in clear, business-friendly language.
- Coordinate internal and client stakeholders for service and commercial discussions.
- Oversee project scoping, quoting, and delivery with technical teams.
- Ensure high-quality client communications during installations and transitions.
- Prepare proposals, quotes, invoices, and monthly client reports.
- Track hardware/software renewals and identify upsell opportunities.
- Educate clients on infrastructure innovations and security best practices.
- Lead onboarding and discovery audits for new clients.
- Collaborate with overlay teams (Managed Services, Cyber Security, etc.) to cross-sell complementary solutions.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experience in IT infrastructure or managed services account management.
- Strong commercial acumen and ability to grow recurring revenue.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to present technical concepts in a business context.
- Highly organised and proactive with a customer-first mindset.
- Comfortable working with overlay teams to deliver cross-functional solutions.
- Full UK driving licence required.
