Role Overview: As Client Director – Managed Services & Infrastructure, you will drive larger, strategic opportunities across existing customers and new prospects, working with the Managed Services & Infrastructure sales team and representatives from other verticals. This is an overlay role: you will not manage day-to-day accounts or renewals, but will bring senior-level engagement, strategic insight, and deal leadership to unlock growth opportunities. You will also carry a small portfolio of key accounts with direct ownership of some client relationships and cross-sell growth. If an Account Director leaves, you may interimly take on their accounts to ensure continuity. You will operate at C-suite and board level, positioning FluidOne as a trusted long-term partner, while enabling sales colleagues to expand relationships and win high-value new business. This hybrid role is based in Sheffield, with flexibility for client site visits and remote work.
Key Responsibilities

- Executive Engagement: Build and maintain C-suite and board-level relationships within key customers and target accounts. Open doors and act as a senior presence in support of sales colleagues during critical deal cycles.
- Partnership with Sales: Act as a senior overlay to the Managed Services & Infrastructure sales team. Provide commercial leadership, industry insight, and executive influence to strengthen bids and account growth strategies.
- Direct Account Ownership: Manage a small number of strategic accounts directly, accountable for relationship health, cross-sell, and growth. Pick up accounts from departing Account Directors if required, ensuring client continuity and retention.
- Account & Territory Growth Planning: Contribute to joint account and territory plans with sales teams. Align client business and IT strategies with FluidOne’s Managed Services & Infrastructure capabilities.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Orchestrate delivery, operations, and technical experts to design solutions that address client priorities. Ensure internal alignment across product, commercial, and delivery teams on opportunities.
- Market & Thought Leadership: Act as a trusted advisor, bringing insight on technology trends and business transformation. Represent FluidOne as a senior figure in customer meetings, industry events, and executive forums.
