Working Hours: Monday to Thursday, 7:30am - 4:30pm, 7:30am – 2:00pm Early Finish Friday (40 Hours)
Fluid Transfer International is a leading designer and manufacturer of innovative refuelling solutions for the aviation, military, and marine industries. Established in 1967, we have delivered world-class refuelling systems for over five decades, supported by our commitment to unparalleled service and support.
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Fitter to join our experienced and dedicated engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing company products to exacting standards and quality specifications as defined by technical drawings and written instructions.
- Execute engineering duties including sub-assembly production fitting and final assembly operations
- Assemble mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electronic components and sub-assemblies
- Produce and build fabricated assemblies of varying size and complexity, including:
- Hydraulic and pneumatic system installation
- General production build assemblies
- Verify complete assemblies for alignment, dimensions, and quality standards
- Adhere to company Health Safety policies and procedures
- Proficiency in interpreting manufacturing drawings, general arrangement drawings, and sub-assembly drawings
- Working knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical circuitry
- Experience in vehicle fabricating/fitting
- Background in aviation, military, marine, or similar industries
- Knowledge of basic electrical assembly and ability to read electrical circuit drawings
