Our client is an established Italian Wine Business with a high-quality wine portfolio. They are seeking 2 Wine Sales Executives (Wine Agents) in the North and East Midlands to handle sales, distribution, and promotion of premium and prestige wine brands within designated territories.
The territories are:
- M62 Corridor: Manchester to West Yorkshire
The customer base includes independent On Trade venues such as premium bars, restaurants, cafes, hotels, small regional groups, and local wholesalers. As a Sales Executive, your role involves developing new business and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients. Candidates from food and beverage backgrounds with a passion for wine are encouraged to apply. Suitable backgrounds include Wine Agents, Sommeliers, Wine Sales professionals, Food & Beverage Consultants, Wine traders/buyers, F&B buyers, hospitality professionals, or passionate salespeople interested in wine. Existing Wine Agents seeking to expand their portfolios are also welcome.
Skills and experience requirements:
- A self-starter passionate about wine with a drive to succeed in the On Trade Wine industry.
- Knowledge of wines, with the ability to recommend and secure listings, and provide customer training and tastings.
- Understanding of the geographical territory and potential clients.
- Proactive, passionate, results-driven.
- Strong negotiation skills and commercial awareness.
- Excellent communication, organization, and numeracy skills.
- Ideally educated to degree level.
