Trade Marketing Manager - Premium Drinks (9-Month Maternity Cover)
Circa ÂŁ55K + package (pro-rated)
Location: North West London 2-3 days per week in office.
Are you a creative and commercially minded marketer with a passion for the drinks industry? We’re looking for a talented Trade Marketing Manager to join our team for a 9-month maternity cover — someone ready to bring big ideas to life and make an immediate impact across an exciting premium spirits portfolio.
This is a varied and fast-paced role where you’ll blend creativity and strategy, working across both trade marketing and brand management for a selection of high-profile spirit brands. You’ll work closely with our sales, marketing, and creative teams to deliver standout campaigns and activations across e-commerce, off-trade and on-trade channels.
What You’ll Do- Lead the planning and execution of all trade marketing activity, creating engaging programs with our key retail and hospitality partners.
- Develop compelling sales and trade marketing materials, including brand presenters, digital assets, and point-of-sale content.
- Manage budgets across multiple brands, ensuring all activity delivers measurable results.
- Oversee the delivery and evaluation of brand plans for six premium brands in the portfolio.
- Collaborate with internal teams and brand owners to implement marketing campaigns that drive visibility, engagement, and sales.
- Proven experience (5+ years) in trade marketing, ideally within the spirits or drinks industry.
- A deep understanding of the UK trade, particularly e-commerce and off-trade landscapes.
- A creative eye and a passion for building visually strong, well-designed materials.
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and project management skills.
- The ability to juggle multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and stay calm under pressure.
- Strong attention to detail, with a proactive and collaborative approach.
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Adobe tools.
- Solid grasp of brand activation and campaign development.
- A natural enthusiasm for spirits and a curiosity to learn more about the category.
You’re organised, adaptable, and hands-on — someone who thrives in a fast-moving environment and enjoys bringing ideas to life. You’re equally comfortable leading strategy and getting into the detail, with a creative mindset and a “can-do” attitude.
