Business Development Manager β London
Field-based. On-trade & Independent Retail Focus.

We're recruiting a Business Development Manager for a fast-moving premium drinks portfolio, covering East London and the independent retail scene.
This is a field-based role where no two days look the same β you'll be out with customers, driving brand engagement, and building the kind of relationships that actually shift product.
Responsibilities
Managing a customer base on-trade accounts, you'll be the face of a premium portfolio β delivering brand presentations, executing trade marketing activations, and ensuring standards are upheld across your patch.
You'll work closely with brand partners to maximise contracted marketing spend, develop smart sales strategies to strengthen existing listings, and bring real commercial thinking to every customer interaction.
Qualifications
Experience in drinks, F&B and/or drinks field sales is a must, but attitude and raw commercial ability matter just as much.
You'll need to be the kind of person who spots an opportunity, acts on it, and doesn't need to be told twice.
Specific skills
- Strong selling skills with the confidence to negotiate and influence at all levels.
- Track record of juggling multiple priorities and delivering results.
- Understanding of brand positioning and how it translates to the outlet level.
- Skilled at building genuine, lasting customer relationships.
- Proactive, solutions-focused, and comfortable working independently.
