Fluent Resourcing is seeking a highly skilled IT Support Engineer on behalf of our client in Dundee. This role is crucial to ensuring the smooth operation of IT systems and services by diagnosing and resolving technical issues, maintaining IT infrastructure, and supporting end-users.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and resolve issues related to hardware, software, and network connectivity.
- Install, maintain, and upgrade hardware and software systems.
- Troubleshoot and support wireless and wired (LAN/WAN) network issues.
- Perform network cabling and setup.
- Manage device provisioning using Intune and Autopilot.
- Troubleshoot SCCM client-side issues.
- Handle Windows patch management and resolve patch-related problems.
- Provide support for Microsoft 365 (including Outlook, Teams, SharePoint), including MFA troubleshooting.
- Manage and troubleshoot endpoint security tools such as CrowdStrike.
- Support and troubleshoot BitLocker encryption functionality.
- Follow ITSM processes and ensure tasks are completed within SLA (Incident & Service Request handling).
- Install and troubleshoot Windows 10/11 operating systems (Windows Server knowledge is a plus).
- Deliver high-quality service through excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in an IT Support Engineer or similar technical support role.
- Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure and support best practices.
- Proven experience with endpoint management, system imaging, and patching.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and enterprise security tools.
- Clear understanding of ITSM frameworks and service delivery standards.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
