We’re now seeking an Architect to join our dynamic in-house team of designers and planning experts. This full-time opportunity is perfect for an experienced Architect who values both work-life balance and impactful work.
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced ARB-registered Architect to join our growing team, working primarily on developer-led new build projects. The role is predominantly technical, with opportunities to contribute to design development on new build dwellings. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality residential schemes, producing comprehensive working drawing packages and overseeing the design process from planning through to construction.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the technical delivery of new build residential projects
- Produce detailed working drawing packages for developer projects
- Contribute to design development of new build dwellings where required
- Act as Principal Designer, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations
- Oversee and coordinate the design stage of projects
- Collaborate closely with a team of architects and designers
- Liaise with consultants, clients, and statutory authorities
- Ensure designs comply with Planning Policy and Building Regulations
- Maintain high technical and design standards across all projects
Skills & Experience Required
- ARB registered Architect
- Minimum of 3 - 5 years’ experience
- Proven experience working on new build residential developments
- Strong technical knowledge with the ability to deliver detailed construction information
- In-depth understanding of UK Planning and Building Regulations
- Experience acting as Principal Designer
- Strong communication and team collaboration skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
