Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a strong local supplier base to support renewable energy projects (solar and wind) across the Netherlands, Finland, Sweden, Denmark, Germany & United Kingdom.
  • Lead RFQ and RFI processes, including cost benchmarking, bid evaluation, and supplier onboarding to ensure competitive and compliant sourcing outcomes.
  • Collaborate closely with legal and technical teams to manage NDAs, negotiate contract terms, and conduct supplier and project risk assessments.
  • Manage end‑to‑end procurement activities for utilities, with a strong preference for experience supporting TSO/DSO clients such as TenneT and Elia.
  • Work cross‑functionally with engineering, project management, construction, and finance teams to deliver projects within tight timelines and budget constraints.
  • Oversee sourcing of critical grid‑tied components, including MV switchgear, SCADA systems, battery enclosures, and transformers (preferred).

Required Qualifications And Experience

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in procurement planning and project support, ideally within the energy, utilities, or infrastructure sectors.
  • Strong understanding of EPC / turnkey project procurement, including technical specifications, commercial terms, and risk considerations.
  • Demonstrated expertise in supplier qualification, contract negotiation, and subcontractor management.
  • Hands‑on experience with sourcing, category management, and vendor onboarding.
  • Experience coordinating with engineering, legal, logistics, and project delivery teams to ensure smooth procurement execution.
  • Fluency in English and fluency in Dutch or German.
