Role Overview
As the Compensation and Benefits Manager, you will support the design, implementation, and administration of global compensation and global benefits programs, with a primary focus on delivering these programs across the EMEA and APAC regions. You will partner closely with the Global Total Rewards team, HR Business Partners, Finance, Payroll, Legal, and external vendors to ensure programs are competitive, compliant, and executed consistently. This individual contributor role blends global program support with hands-on regional delivery, requiring strong analytical capability, market expertise, compliance awareness, and collaborative partnership across multiple functions. Key Responsibilities
- Global Program Support (Compensation & Benefits): Support the development, enhancement, and rollout of global compensation and benefits programs, policies, and procedures.
- Global Program Support (Compensation & Benefits): Conduct market research and contribute analytical insights to global design discussions.
- Global Program Support (Compensation & Benefits): Recommend enhancements based on emerging global and regional trends, regulatory requirements, and benchmarking insights.
- Compensation Responsibilities
- Global Compensation Program Support: Support global compensation team in administering base compensation, short-term incentives, long-term incentives, and recognition programs.
- Compensation Program Execution and Compliance (APAC & EMEA): Partner with HRBPs and Talent Acquisition on job evaluations, salary range placement, offer construction, and internal equity analysis.
- Compensation Program Execution and Compliance (APAC & EMEA): Ensure compensation programs comply with local employment laws, statutory requirements, and internal governance standards.
- Compensation Market Intelligence: Conduct compensation benchmarking using regional market surveys to ensure competitive salary ranges and job structures.
- Compensation Market Intelligence: Monitor market trend, pay transparency, equal pay, and other regulatory change requirements in EMEA and APAC, and assess the impact on compensation practices.
- Compensation Market Intelligence: Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to the Global Total Rewards team on implications and required program updates.
- Benefit Responsibilities
- Global Benefits Program Support: Support the global benefits team in administering and enhancing health & welfare, pension, leave, and wellness programs.
- Global Benefits Program Support: Assist in global plan documentation, governance processes, compliance reviews, vendor management, and annual renewals.
- Global Benefits Program Support: Contribute to global harmonization, policy updates, and employee communication initiatives.
- Regional Benefits Administration (APAC & EMEA): Deliver regional benefits programs including health insurance, risk benefits, pension schemes, wellness programs, leave policies, and perquisites.
- Regional Benefits Administration (APAC & EMEA): Coordinate with HR Operations and regional HRBPs on enrollment processes, plan updates, renewals, and employee-facing communications.
- Regional Benefits Administration (APAC & EMEA): Serve as a regional escalation point for benefits-related questions, resolving issues in partnership with payroll, HR Ops, and external vendors.
- Benefits Market & Regulatory Intelligence: Conduct benchmarking of benefits offerings and statutory requirements across APAC and EMEA.
- Benefits Market & Regulatory Intelligence: Monitor regulatory changes affecting benefits, pensions, insurance, wellness, and reporting obligations.
- Benefits Market & Regulatory Intelligence: Provide insights and recommendations to the global benefits team.
- HR & Business Partner Support
- Serve as a subject-matter expert to HRBPs and People Managers on compensation and benefits programs and policy interpretation.
- Provide guidance on compensation structures, benefit offerings, and cycle-related activities.
- Support Works Council and employee representative processes where applicable (especially in EMEA).
Required Qualifications And Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, Mathematics, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in compensation and/or benefits program management; global or multi-region benefits experience strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of compensation and benefits regulations and compliance requirements across APAC and EMEA.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience using benchmarking data and compensation/benefits analytics.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills; able to simplify complex Total Rewards concepts.
- High level of integrity and ability to manage confidential and sensitive information.
Additional Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Workday or other HRIS platforms preferred.
