Role Overview
Fluence is looking for an IT Service Desk Intern to support and enhance internal IT support services. This role provides hands-on experience in a professional IT environment, working with Microsoft 365, ServiceNow, and enterprise infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for hardware and software in a Microsoft 365 environment
- Assist in setting up and deploying desktop computers (Windows and Mac)
- Support user account management activities in Active Directory
- Help with procurement and distribution of IT equipment
- Assist with Office 365, SharePoint, and ServiceNow-related tasks
- Contribute to and maintain knowledge base documentation in ServiceNow
- Support hardware and software inventory management
- Assist in troubleshooting audio/video conferencing systems
- Support administration of core hosted applications
- Collaborate with local IT vendors and internal teams
Key Qualifications & Experience
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field
- Basic understanding of Microsoft Windows and/or Mac OS
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365 (Office applications, Teams, Outlook)
- Interest in IT support, troubleshooting, and end-user services
- Basic understanding of networking, device management, or identity management is a plus
- Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work on-site in the Erlangen office
