A results-driven and detail-oriented Procurement Professional with strong experience in sourcing, contract management, and supplier negotiation within the energy sector. Brings a deep understanding of the UK & Ireland market dynamics, regulatory environment, and local supplier base, particularly within renewable energy, utilities, and infrastructure projects. Skilled in end-to-end procurement processes, with a proven ability to optimize cost, ensure compliance, and support the timely delivery of critical goods and services. Familiar with EU procurement standards, local tax and logistics considerations, and experienced in managing supplier relationships across multicultural teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Procurement planning & project support understanding of EPC / turnkey project procurement
  • Coordination with engineering, legal, logistics, and project delivery teams
  • Supplier qualification & contract negotiation
  • Sourcing & category management
  • Supplier/subcontractor onboarding

Systems: SAP (MM), Unifier, Coupa, Ariba, MS Office

Knowledge of EU/local energy regulations & compliance: preferred

Fluent in English: any other European language is a plus

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Developed local supplier base for renewable projects (solar/wind) in the EU-UK
  • Led RFQ and RFI processes, cost benchmarking, and supplier onboarding
  • Collaborated with legal and technical teams on NDA, contract terms, and risk assessments
  • Supported procurement activities End to end for utilities preferably TSO/DSO clients
  • Worked with cross-functional teams to deliver on aggressive project timelines and budget constraints
  • Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, or Business

Preferred Skills

  • NEVI or CIPS certification
  • Managed sourcing for grid-tied components (MV switchgear, SCADA, battery enclosures, transformers)
  • Familiarity with ESG/sustainability procurement standards
