SUMMARY OF POSITIONThe Site Manager is responsible for the safe, compliant, and effective onsite execution of installation, testing, and commissioning activities for the RTIO CLAHDO Automated Sample Preparation Cell within the approved FLSmidth scope.Acting as FLSmidth’s primary onsite authority, the role ensures strict compliance with RTIO safety and governance requirements, delivery to approved technical and quality standards, and progressive readiness for commissioning, operational assurance, and formal handover to RTIO Operations.The Site Manager leads day‑to‑day site execution, coordinates FLS and subcontractor resources, supports RTIO commissioning governance, and monitors, manages, and reports progress, risks, and issues to ensure a safe, controlled, and timely transition from installation through to operational acceptance.Primary Accountabilities – Safety & GovernanceTrack, manage, and report onsite progress, risks, and issues in line with project and RTIO governance requirements.Proactively identify and escalate execution risks and constraints, driving mitigation actions to protect safety, quality, and schedule outcomes.Enforce approved SWMS, JHAs, lift plans and commissioning procedures.Participate in RTIO walkdowns, readiness reviews and governance forums.Primary Accountabilities – Execution & CommissioningLead installation, pre-commissioning and commissioning activities within FLS battery limits.Manage subcontractor mobilisation, progress and performance.Support SAT, performance testing, punch list close-out and completion milestones.Primary Accountabilities – Quality & HandoverEnsure completion and control of ITPs, inspection records, test sheets and redlines.Support compilation and close-out of handover documentation.Experience and understanding of system and sub-system quality systems.Experience and understanding of performance testing and facility handovers.Interfaces & Success MeasuresInterfaces: RTIO Package Lead, Commissioning, Operations; FLS Project Manager, Engineering, Commissioning.Success measured by safe execution, commissioning readiness, complete documentation and timely handover.The role will be site based on a FIFO roster out of Perth, Western Australia.FLSmidth is the leading supplier of engineering, equipment and service solutions to customers in the mining and minerals industries – for more information please visit FLSmidth.com/careersWe offer all employees access to a dedicated recognition platform, empowering you to celebrate achievements, share appreciation and stay connected globally. #J-18808-Ljbffr
