We are currently looking for a Service Supervisor to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe execution of maintenance services, including the management of people and equipment. You will have the opportunity to demonstrate your positive and strong leadership to run prestart meetings, allocate daily tasks, and work closely with various stakeholders in a multidisciplinary environment. This role will see you FIFO from Perth, to required mine sites. To be successful in your application you must be able to demonstrate experience working in a similar role and have experience in managing projects and teams. You will be responsible for the daily planning and execution of maintenance activities to required timeframes and quality requirements.
Duties
- Provide Leadership whilst carrying out supervision of trades, sub-contractors on shutdowns across sites throughout WA.
- Conduct planning and scheduling of crew’s workloads to meet shut requirements and timeframes.
- Ensure all work is undertaken in a safe & timely manner in accordance with FLS’s and client’s requirements.
- Lead FLS Safety culture by example by conducting pre-start & post shift debriefs, conduct safety leadership tours / field interactions etc.
- Support the FLS flowsheet on site to deliver a positive and innovative experience to the customer through best maintenance practices.
- Effectively communicate issues back to FLS internal teams for support and opportunities to improve the customer experience.
Skills & Experience
- Proven “hands on” Supervisory experience in fixed plant and counterbalance machines including but not limited to crushers, mills, apron feeders, pumps, stackers, reclaimers etc.
- Sound knowledge of metalliferous operating & process facilities i.e. gold, Iron Ore, Nickel, Lithium.
- Trade Qualified.
- Demonstrated problem solving skills coupled with effective communication skills.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to empower your team.
- Proven ability to develop and maintain working relationships with external & internal key stakeholders.
- Strong commitment to the positive Safety culture with the ability to walk the talk on safety.
- Able to provide reports on production activities including progress against budgets.
- Sound ability to understand & execute mechanical plans.
- Able to proactively assist in all aspects of coordinating shut work activities including but not limited to assessment of work instructions, procedures, manning levels and appropriate skillsets.
- The ability to use initiative to contribute and support continuous improvement, and drive change.
- Assist with the completion of required inspections, audits and HSE reports.
