We’re looking for a bright and enthusiastic Junior Administrative Assistant to join our team at Floyd Slaski Architects, a busy and creative architectural practice based in Putney, London.
About Us
Established in 1952 as an architectural practice concentrating on medical design and assisting the DHSS with its design guidance notes and projects, Floyd Slaski Architects has never forgotten its roots. Included within a wide portfolio is a comprehensive range of healthcare types and facilities including community clinics, high tech diagnostics, emergency departments, operating theatres and intensive care units.
The Role
As a Junior Administrative Assistant, you'll play an important part in keeping our office running smoothly. You’ll be working closely with and reporting to our Financial Associate and Office Manager, who will guide your development and provide training and support. This is a great opportunity to build your confidence and skills in a professional environment. This is an in-person role, so we’re looking for someone who can commute easily to our office in Putney.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Helping to keep the office organised (filing, printing, scanning, archiving)
- Managing office supplies
- Assisting with purchase invoice management
- Assisting with the daily running of the practice
- Managing the office admin calendar
- Responding to email enquiries
- Organisation of the office space
- Responsible for keeping office plants alive (they’re part of our creative, green office environment!)
Who We’re Looking For
You don’t need any previous office experience – we’ll teach you everything you need to know. But we are looking for someone who is:
- Friendly, helpful, and a team player
- Organised and keen to learn
- Confident using a computer (basic Word, email, internet skills)
- Professional, reliable, and punctual
We particularly welcome applicants who live close to or have an easy commute to Putney.
Qualifications
Minimum GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths. A positive attitude and willingness to learn are most important!
Pay: £22,000.00-£25,225.00 per year
