Role Description

We are looking for a remote, Senior Shopify Developer for advanced Shopify theme customization, code audits, and continuous optimization. This role requires deep familiarity with Shopify’s Liquid templating, front-end languages, and best practices in scalable, maintainable code. This is an ongoing, on-demand engagement requiring a proactive, solution-oriented developer who thrives in a fast-paced agency environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Crafting and refining complex custom Shopify themes to align perfectly with design and UX goals
• Diagnosing and resolving intricate bugs and performance issues
• Conducting thorough code reviews of existing Shopify implementations, identifying inefficiencies and recommending improvements
• Implementing precise front-end revisions and feature enhancements based on evolving business needs
• Optimizing site speed, responsiveness, and cross-device functionality
• Collaborating closely with our internal team and other developers to uphold the highest code quality standards
• Maintaining detailed documentation to support ongoing development and knowledge sharing

Qualifications:

• Proven experience delivering high-quality Shopify customizations with speed and accuracy
• Excellent communication skills. Clear, proactive, and responsive in all interactions
• Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously without compromising quality or deadlines
• Strong problem-solving mindset with a focus on practical, scalable solutions
• Comfortable working independently and collaboratively within a remote, fast-paced agency setting
