About the Role
This is a field-based role focused on developing customer relationships, identifying sales opportunities, and driving growth. You\’ll be the key point of contact for your territory, supported by dedicated internal sales, customer service, and marketing teams. A strong commercial mindset and a genuine desire to help customers solve problems are a must.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and grow a defined customer base across the South West
- Maximise commercial performance of quotes and pricing agreements
- Align activity with regional strategy and national marketing campaigns
- Attend trade shows and support promotional events
- Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to deliver best-in-class service
- Continuously improve through training, feedback, and self-development
What We’re Looking For:
- 3+ years of sales experience in a targeted, customer-facing role
- Proven commercial acumen and results orientation
- Excellent communication, relationship-building and problem-solving skills
- Self-starter with strong time management and organisational abilities
- Full UK driving licence
- Experience in fluid power or technical sales is a significant bonus – but not essential
