The Opportunity
As a Sales Support Executive, you'll become the commercial heartbeat of the Skelmersdale branch. You'll work closely with customers, Key Account Managers and internal teams to ensure every enquiry is handled professionally, every quotation is accurate and every customer receives exceptional service. You'll gain exposure to the full sales cycle while learning how a successful engineering distribution business operates behind the scenes.
No two days are the same. One moment you'll be preparing quotations for customers; the next you'll be coordinating orders, solving customer enquiries, supporting key accounts or identifying opportunities to strengthen customer relationships.
What You'll Be Doing
- Managing customer enquiries by phone, email and digital platforms.
- Processing customer orders accurately and ensuring timely fulfilment.
- Preparing quotations and following up to support sales opportunities.
- Supporting Key Account Managers with customer accounts and commercial administration.
- Building strong relationships with customers through exceptional service.
- Maintaining CRM records and tracking customer activity.
- Coordinating with internal teams regarding stock, deliveries and order progress.
- Helping identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
- Resolving customer issues efficiently by working closely with logistics, suppliers and operational teams.
- Producing reports and maintaining accurate commercial data.
- Contributing towards branch sales performance and customer satisfaction targets.
