The Role

This is a field-based sales role focused on new business development, while also growing and maintaining key customer relationships across the Bolton & wider North West territory.

Youll work closely with internal sales, technical and procurement teams to deliver tailored fluid power solutions across hydraulics, compressed air and related components.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Driving new business growth within the fluid power market

  • Managing and developing existing customer accounts

  • Building strong relationships with engineering, maintenance and procurement teams

  • Preparing and following up quotes, proposals and budgets

  • Identifying opportunities and converting leads into long-term customers

  • Managing your territory to achieve revenue and margin targets

About You

  • Proven B2B sales experience within fluid power, hydraulics, pneumatics or a similar industrial/engineering sector

  • Strong new business development capability

  • Industry or product knowledge is a significant advantage

  • Commercially astute, organised and customer-focused

  • Confident communicator, comfortable working autonomously in the field

  • Competent using Microsoft Office (Excel / Word)

You do not need to be an engineer, but you must have sold into a similar technical/industrial market.
