Location: Flowtech The Role This role is multi-disciplined where you are required to carry out installations and repair of Hydraulic Systems and Automated Lubrication Systems to HGVs and other off-road equipment and plant across a wide range of applications and industries.

An understanding of Hydraulic and Lubrication Systems and components such as pumps, valves, actuators, filtration and associated Fluid Power products will be required, and ongoing training will be provided.

Scope Reporting to the Workshop Team Leader, the scope is multi-skilled.

Predominantly, you will be required to carry out installation of various types of hydraulic systems to HGVs.

You will also be required to carry out installation of automated greasing systems to HGVs and other off-road / plant machinery.

On occasions you will also be required to perform engineering repairs and overhauls to a variety of hydraulic pumps and valves.

You may also be required to carry out power pack and valve assembly work in our build facility.

You will be required to work collaboratively as part of a team and support timely delivery of items and solutions to customers.

Establish, develop and maintain effective working relationships with all work colleagues.

Undertake any other duties as may reasonably be required in line with the level of responsibility of the post and in order to meet the changing needs of the organisation.

Be enthusiastic and adaptable, as there may be occasional times when assistance with our Site Services team will be required.

At all times you will follow the health and safety requirements of the business and, when required, of the customer.

Key Responsibilities To install hydraulic systems and automated greasing systems to HGVs as required at our workshop and customers premises.

Carry out repairs both in our workshop and on site if required.

To test, where appropriate, to ensure correct operating criteria are met before delivery to customer.

To run up and test hydraulic systems before delivery to customers.

Able to fault find in hydraulic systems / applications with limited information.

Fault diagnosis, inspection and repair of hydraulic components.

May be required to attend breakdowns at very short notice; some overtime may be required.

Ensuring that the workshop and machine shop are kept clean and tidy and that thoroughfares are not cluttered or blocked.

Report as required within area of responsibility.

Promoting the company at all times when communicating with customers.

General Maintain a positive and solution-oriented approach to work, providing open and honest feedback.

In all internal and external contact, present a professional and positive image of the company as well as maintaining mutually constructive, positive, and beneficial relationships.

Take all reasonable steps to ensure appropriate confidentiality.

Undertake such other duties, training and/or hours of work as may be reasonably required, and which are consistent with the general level of responsibility of this role.
