Flowtech Fluidpower plc is a leading specialist supplier of fluid power products and solutions, helping industry move through hydraulics, pneumatics, and associated technologies. As we continue to grow, we’re looking for an experienced Learning & Development Manager to coordinate and deliver our Group-wide L&D strategy.

This is a key role responsible for the coordination, delivery, and continuous improvement of the Group L&D strategy. You’ll work closely with senior leaders to ensure the organisation has the skills, leadership, and capability needed to support business growth—while also leading the rollout of major development initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and deliver the Group L&D strategy aligned to business priorities
  • Partner with senior leaders to identify future skills and capability needs
  • Design and implement impactful learning and leadership development programmes
  • Lead the launch of a new graduate scheme, including ongoing evaluation and reporting
  • Design and deliver High Potential (HIPO) programmes
  • Develop and manage apprenticeship schemes
  • Create and embed a Flowtech Academy, including talent mapping and development pathways
  • Build and deliver leadership development programmes
  • Develop and enhance e-learning solutions and digital learning content
  • Conduct skills gap analysis and implement targeted development initiatives
  • Embed learning within performance and talent processes
  • Manage L&D budget and external providers
  • Maintain accurate training records, LMS data, and governance processes
  • Collate and analyse data to produce insightful reports (including Board-level reporting)
  • Measure learning effectiveness and ROI
  • Promote a culture of continuous learning across the organisation

About You

  • Proven experience in Learning & Development or Talent Development
  • Experience delivering or supporting:
  • Graduate schemes (including launch and reporting)
  • High Potential programmes
  • Apprenticeship schemes
  • Leadership development programmes
  • E-learning design and delivery
  • Experience or exposure to creating an academy model and talent mapping frameworks
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail and data accuracy
  • Confident working with data, reporting, and producing insights for senior leadership/Board
  • Experience managing LMS platforms, budgets, and external providers
