The Role

This is an ideal role for someone who has completed a first sales role and is ready to take on more responsibility. You'll manage day-to-day business development, strengthen existing client relationships and generate new business opportunities across a diverse range of industries. Working closely with a regional manager and collaborating with internal sales, technical and procurement teams, you'll deliver solutions that meet customer needs and contribute to Thorite's growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow accounts across your region achieving sales and profit targets.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in pneumatics, hydraulics, electronics and compressed air systems.
  • Build strong lasting relationships with customer contacts including purchasing, maintenance and engineering teams.
  • Prepare and present persuasive quotations, proposals and presentations.
  • Take ownership of your sales pipeline ensuring timely follow-up and conversion of leads.
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure excellent service and technical support.

About You

  • Degree-educated (preferably Engineering, Technical or Business disciplines).
  • Some prior sales or commercial experience looking to progress to the next level.
  • Confident communicator with strong relationship-building skills.
  • Organised, motivated and results-focused.
  • Genuine interest in engineering and technical solutions.
  • Full UK driving licence required.
