Flowers Across Melbourne is our flagship base of Flowers Across™. We help thoughtful people send heartfelt floral gifts and provide a quick, convenient service delivering flowers throughout Melbourne from our Preston (3072) warehouse. We are excited to welcome new staff into our continually growing team, and currently have an opportunity for a Casual Florist to join us.
While floristry experience (Cert III or prior hands‑on floristry) is preferred, we’re very open to candidates with strong creative skills and a genuine passion for flowers (tell us more in your cover letter!). Looking for an immediate start.
About the RoleOn‑site floristry position, creating gorgeous arrangements for an online‑based florist and gift delivery business. Approx. 15 hours/week. Casual role with potential for permanent part‑time hours down the track. MUST have availability on weekends. Flexibility across the rest of the week is highly regarded (ideally Mondays). Please detail your current weekly availability in your cover letter. (Note: in general, our operating hours are 7am - 5pm Mon‑Fri & 7am‑3pm weekends). Pay rates are above award rate and are commensurate with experience (cert or non‑cert floristry and creatives!). Weekend penalties + Superannuation applied on top of advertised rate.
