Event Florist & Shop Manager – Join Our Prestigious Chelsea Flower Brand
We are looking for a talented Senior Florist to join our creative team in the heart of Chelsea. If you are passionate about flowers, design, and creating unforgettable experiences through floristry, this could be the perfect role for you.
You will be working with one of London’s most respected floral brands, where no two days are the same — from styling beautiful events and installations to curating seasonal shop displays that stop people in their tracks.
We are after someone who is confident, imaginative, and hands-on — someone who loves delivering exceptional customer service and brings a keen eye for detail to everything they do. A real team leader. A touch of horticultural know-how would be a lovely bonus too.
As part of the application, we will ask you to create a short event presentation to show off your creativity and flair for current trends.
What You Will Be Doing
- Designing and creating stunning floral arrangements for events, weddings, and installations.
- Managing the daily running of the shop, keeping everything looking beautiful and welcoming.
- Working closely with clients to bring their ideas to life — from concept to proposal to the finished design.
- Overseeing event logistics, including loading, delivery, set-up, and de-rig.
- Inspiring and supporting junior florists, helping them grow their skills and confidence.
- Managing stock, suppliers, and ensuring the shop always looks its best.
What We Are Looking For
- At least three years’ experience as a florist, ideally with luxury or event floristry experience.
- A strong creative streak and a love of current floral and design trends.
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills — you will be dealing with clients and creating proposals.
- Confident using computers (Microsoft Office, POS systems, etc.).
- A great knowledge of London and its venues would be a bonus.
- A full UK driving licence held for at least five years — essential for event work and deliveries.
- Flexibility to work weekends and occasional longer hours when big events call for it.
This is a full-time role (five days per week) and a brilliant opportunity to grow your floristry career in a creative, fast-paced, and supportive environment. You will get to be part of a team that is passionate about flowers, design, and making every detail truly beautiful.
