Flowdesk's mission is to build a global financial institution for digital assets, designed for market integrity and efficiency. We apply a disciplined, first-principles approach to everything we do, embedded in our core services, from institutional liquidity provision to comprehensive treasury management offerings.

We are looking for an Integration Engineer to support and structure Flowdesk's Atlassian ecosystem within the Internal Product team as part of the Business Operations department. Your role is hands-on, designing clean workflows, stabilizing configurations, improving automation, supporting integrations, and ensuring that Jira/Confluence remain reliable and predictable as Flowdesk enters a regulated perimeter (MiCA, VARA, MAS).

You will work closely with Operations, Engineering, Compliance, Legal, and Business teams to ensure our tooling stays coherent, scalable, and aligned with the needs of a financial institution.

  • Jira / Confluence Administration
    • Operate and maintain Flowdesk's Jira Software, Jira Service Management, and Confluence environments with a strong focus on stability and governance.
    • Design, configure, and optimize workflows, permission schemes, automation rules, notifications, issue types, custom fields, and project templates.
    • Maintain a clean, consistent, and scalable structure across all teams and projects, aligned with Flowdesk's regulated operating model.
    • Manage access permissions, user groups, and role-based governance, including periodic access reviews and audit trails.
    • Support backup routines, environment checks, and controlled changes as part of Business Continuity requirements.
    • Structure and maintain Confluence spaces, templates, and access models to support policy documentation, SOPs, and audit deliverables.
  • Governance, Auditability & Knowledge Base
    • Enforce Jira and Confluence governance standards, naming conventions, templates, lifecycle rules, archival routines, and configuration hygiene.
    • Ensure all configurations, changes, and access controls are audit-ready and aligned with international regulators VARA, MiCA, and MAS expectations.
    • Maintain Confluence as a structured, permission-controlled Knowledge Base used for audits, internal documentation, and AI indexing.
    • Collaborate with Internal Product to ensure Confluence pages are well-organized, searchable, and properly linked to automation and AI systems.
  • Integrations & Automation
    • Build, improve, and maintain automation rules across Jira Cloud and Confluence to streamline operational and engineering workflows.
    • Use REST APIs and lightweight scripting to connect Jira/Confluence with internal tools (repositories, HR systems, Ops tools, etc.).
    • Contribute to internal integrations with Flowdesk microservices, automation platforms, and reporting tools.
  • Reporting & Analytics
    • Build and maintain dashboards, reports, KPIs, and workload views for leadership and operational teams.
    • Improve visibility on request throughput, SLA performance, backlog structure, and cross-team dependencies.
    • Contribute to documentation and knowledge sharing on how Jira and Confluence should be used across the company.
  • Support & Process Enablement
    • Support teams in designing clean project setups and adopting standardized templates and workflows.
    • Provide guidance and training sessions on Jira and Confluence usage, best practices, and operational flows.
    • Reduce operational noise by consolidating legacy configurations, removing unused artifacts, and enforcing platform consistency.

Requirements

You are structured, reliable, and comfortable owning day-to-day operations of a core internal platform. You enjoy cleaning, standardizing, and improving internal tooling. You thrive in environments where stability and operational rigor matter. This role is ideal for someone who wants to grow into a broader Internal Product or Automation role in the future.

  • Must-have
    • 3-5 years of hands-on experience administering Jira Cloud and Confluence.
    • Strong understanding of workflow design, permissions, issue types, automation rules, notifications, and project configuration.
    • Experience with Jira REST API, basic scripting (Python/JS/Bash), or automation tools.
    • Good understanding of ITSM workflows and agile delivery environments.
    • Ability to work with both technical and non-technical teams and translate requirements into clean configurations.
    • Experience in fintech, trading firms, SaaS, or regulated environments is a plus.
    • Exposure to crypto or Web3 environments is appreciated.
    • Atlassian Certified Professional is appreciated.

Benefits

  • International environment (English is the main language)
  • 50% of transportation costs & a sustainable mobility agreement
  • Swile lunch voucher (€9.25 per day, 60% covered)
  • 100% Alan Blue covered for you and your children
  • Wellpass contribution to gym membership
  • Team events and offsites
