Who are we? Meet Flowd. We're looking for an ambitious Head of GTM to lead and scale our Go-To-Market function at Flowd. As one of the UK's fastest-growing marketing services businesses, we work with some of the world's most exciting brands and have big ambitions to become the leader in our space. With a team of 35 across Manchester and Europe, we're growing quickly and expanding globally.
The Role
We’re hiring a Head of GTM to lead and scale our team of GTM Engineers. This is a technical leadership role for someone who thinks in systems, builds in tools, and can turn data, automation, and AI into repeatable revenue for Flowd and for our clients. You’ll own the GTM strategy end-to-end while staying hands-on in the stack. You’ll set the technical standard for how we build outbound email infrastructure, Clay enrichment pipelines, and Claude Code–powered automation, and you’ll coach a team of engineers to execute it flawlessly across a portfolio of clients. The right person is as comfortable reviewing a Claude Code script or auditing a Clay workflow as they are presenting a strategy to a client’s CRO. Crucially, you’ll own how our service is delivered to clients, defining the delivery model, productising our methodology, and shaping the experience from onboarding through to reporting. As we scale, you’ll be the person who turns ad-hoc client work into a repeatable, high-quality service.
What You'll Be Doing
- Leadership & Team
- Lead, mentor, and scale a team of GTM Engineers, setting technical standards, reviewing work, and raising the bar on build quality.
- Establish engineering best practices for outbound: version control, documentation, reusable workflow templates, QA, and handover processes.
- Own capacity planning, resourcing, and delivery quality across multiple concurrent client accounts.
- Own outbound email strategy and infrastructure end-to-end, inbox architecture, warmup, sending logic, and rotation.
- Set the standard for outbound infrastructure and inbox management across hundreds of mailboxes.
- Design multi-step, multi-channel sequences and the segmentation and personalisation logic that powers them at scale.
- Continuously test and optimise targeting, messaging, copy, and channel mix using real performance data.
- Architect and own sophisticated Clay workflows, enrichment waterfalls, scoring models, ICP frameworks, and dedupe/normalisation logic.
- Build robust data sourcing and enrichment pipelines integrating multiple providers, APIs, and intelligence sources.
- Define qualification frameworks and signal-based targeting (intent, hiring, tech-stack, funding).
- Use Claude Code to build and maintain custom automation, scripts, integrations, agents, and internal tooling.
- Design AI-powered research, personalisation, and qualification workflows that improve quality while reducing manual effort.
- Evaluate and integrate new AI tools, APIs, and data providers to keep Flowd ahead of the market.
- Service Design & Delivery
- Own and evolve how Flowd’s service is delivered to clients, from onboarding and discovery through to execution, reporting, and QBRs.
- Productise our methodology into a repeatable, scalable delivery model with clear playbooks, SLAs, and quality standards.
- Design the client experience: communication, reporting formats, and the moments that drive retention and expansion.
- Build the operational frameworks, documentation, and templates that let the team deliver consistently as we scale.
What We're Looking For
- Must-haves
- Outbound email expertise: deep, hands-on knowledge of cold email infrastructure, domain/inbox setup, warmup, and sending at scale.
- Clay Knowledge: advanced, hands-on experience building enrichment waterfalls, scoring, and complex workflow automation, not just using templates.
- Claude Code: proven ability to build automation, scripts, and integrations with AI‑assisted coding tools; comfortable reading and writing code.
- Team leadership: track record of building, coaching, and managing technical or GTM/growth teams in a B2B environment.
- Systems thinking: strong grasp of data architecture, enrichment logic, ICP development, and qualification frameworks.
- Client‑facing skill: able to influence and present at both strategic and operational levels.
- Service mindset: experience designing or productising how a service is delivered to clients, building playbooks, processes, and quality standards that scale.
- Nice‑to‑haves
- Experience in a lead‑gen, demand‑gen, outbound, or GTM agency environment.
- Familiarity with APIs, webhooks, and tools like n8n, Make, or Zapier for orchestration.
- Working knowledge of Apollo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Smartlead/Instantly, and CRM platforms (e.g. HubSpot, Close).
- A genuine passion for emerging GTM, AI, and RevOps trends.
Why us?
- Working in our city centre office or remotely.
- Flexy hours.
- Opportunities to work in different countries with travel paid for!
- Handsome commission structure.
- Christmas shutdown period on top of your annual leave allowance.
