Flowan Health is a private boutique ultrasound clinic based in Balham, London. We are currently seeking an experienced Receptionist to join our team to work part time for circa 14-18 hours per week spread over 2-3 days, of which one may be a weekend day. You will be employed on a zero hours contract. We are looking for somebody with experience in either reception or administrative positions, a positive attitude, a strong work ethic and ideally passionate about maternity and outstanding health care.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Booking appointments for customers both over the phone and in person
- Welcoming customers to the clinic and assisting them with any queries and registration
- Taking payments
- Acting as a Chaperone where required
- Keeping and organising records and data
- Cleaning the clinic
- Taking customer feedback and relaying this to the management
- Monitoring stock levels to help timely procurement
Qualifications and Skills:
In order to be considered for this position, you must have a background in either reception or administration work and be able to deliver exceptional customer service. The successful applicant will demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills, be reliable and well organised.
Due to the nature of this role, a full DBS check will need to be performed prior to the commencement of employment. Mandatory training also applies.
Expected working hours (may be changed at manager's discretion):
- Mon: 08:30 to 13:30
- Tue: 14:30 to 20:30
- Wed: closed
- Thu: 14:30 to 20:30
- Fri: 08:30 to 13:30
- Sat: 08:30 to 17:30
- Sun: 9:30 to 16:30
Extra shifts may be required if you are available.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent zero hours, 0 to 25 hours per week. £12.71 gross per hour for over 21s.
Required experience: Customer Care, Reception, Administration; desirable: NHS, Medical.
Fluency in English is required.
