Cleaner
Location: Parham Student Village, Canterbury
Permanent, Full Time
Hours: 30 hours per week
Salary: £12.71 per hour
We are seeking reliable and experienced Cleaners to join our team at Parham Student Village in Canterbury. As a Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness across a range of residential properties and communal areas.
Responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain the designated areas to a high standard, including site offices, toilets, corridors, and communal areas
- Carry out cleaning tasks, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and polishing
- Emptying bins and removing waste to designated areas
- Stock and maintain cleaning supplies and equipment
- Report any maintenance or safety issues to the appropriate person
- Respond promptly to cleaning requests from clients
- Adhere to health and safety policies and procedures
- Ensure all work is completed within the agreed timeframes
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Cleaner or similar role
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, proper storage, and disposal methods
- Ability to use cleaning equipment and machines, such as vacuum cleaners, floor polishers, and carpet cleaners
- Physical fitness and ability to carry out manual tasks
- Willingness to support with PPMs and operational tasks when needed
