We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Nursery Chef to join our team on a part-time basis, working Monday to Friday, 30 hours per week. In this rewarding role, you will be responsible for preparing delicious, nutritious and well-balanced meals for our children, while ensuring all dietary requirements and allergies are carefully accommodated. You will play an important role in supporting the children’s health and wellbeing, maintaining a safe and inclusive environment, and developing strong working relationships with colleagues across the nursery. About You We are looking for someone who is passionate about food, nutrition and providing children with healthy, enjoyable meals. You will ideally have: A minimum Level 2 Food Hygiene and Safety qualification. Proven experience working as a chef, ideally within a nursery, childcare or similar setting. A strong understanding of child nutrition, dietary requirements and allergy awareness. The ability to work independently while also contributing positively to a wider team. A calm, professional and organised approach, even in a busy kitchen environment. A genuine commitment to creating a safe, caring and inclusive environment for children.
