As Deputy Nursery Manager, you'll play a vital role in supporting the Nursery Manager with the day-to-day running of a busy, thriving nursery. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced early years professional who is passionate about delivering outstanding care, developing high-performing teams, and creating an environment where children can flourish.
Working closely with the Nursery Manager, you'll help lead and motivate the team, ensuring the highest standards of care, education, safeguarding, and compliance are consistently achieved. You'll act as a role model, providing guidance and support to colleagues while helping to foster a positive, inclusive, and inspiring culture for both children and staff.
This is a hands-on leadership role where no two days are the same. You'll have the opportunity to coach and develop practitioners, support operational excellence, build strong relationships with families, and step confidently into the Nursery Manager's role when required.
What we're looking for:
- Previous experience in a senior nursery role, such as Deputy Nursery Manager, Third in Charge, Room Leader, or similar.
- A recognised Level 3 qualification in Early Years.
- Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
- Excellent knowledge of the EYFS, safeguarding, and regulatory requirements.
- A passion for delivering exceptional childcare and creating positive outcomes for every child.
- A proactive, organised approach with the confidence to support the commercial and operational success of the nursery.
