Our client is one of the UK's most recognisable and leading Fitness Equipment Suppliers. They are currently looking to recruit a Regional Sales Manager to cover their West and Wales Region.
Job Objective: A home and field-based role, delivering agreed sales revenue targets and meeting attendance levels of appointments within the assigned sales region. Supporting the National Sales Manager and Directors in developing sales and maintaining existing customer relationships. Maintaining the organisations established reputation within the Leisure Industry and proactively selling all the companies services.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
- To deliver agreed sales revenue targets via self-generated enquiries, telemarketing generated leads and inbound requirements.
- Attend all customer appointments generated by themselves, and via any other relevant department/manager/director within the organisation.
- Obtain good area knowledge and determine when customers tenders are due for release.
- Review and complete all (RFQ`s) Request For Quotation and Tenders within the agreed timescales.
- Complete all relevant client report forms following customer appointments and update on CRM database within one week of the appointment for the area.
- To update CRM database and forecasts on a bi-weekly minimum basis for the area.
- To be familiar with and confident in presenting and discussing every aspect of the companies product portfolio at all levels.
- Accurate measuring of customers premises and complete documentation to the desired requirements and pass to the drawing office to generate 2D floor plans and 3D imagery.
- Presentation of proposals to potential clients at the correct stage in the sales process.
- Complete all relevant reports to the sales office or on CRM within the agreed timescales set by the National Sales Manager.
- Complete site survey forms to record all necessary work required on client’s premises.
- Develop a detailed knowledge of all public, private and education sector sites and contacts within the assigned region and update the internal CRM database appropriately.
- Attend exhibitions, trade shows and other industry functions as set at the start of each year and required to attend.
What are we looking for: We are ideally looking for candidates with a minimum of 1 years experience in Field based Sales Management selling into the leisure industry. We will however also consider candidates with a minimum of 2 years sales management experience within a fitness or leisure related industry.
