About Flow Neuroscience

Flow Neuroscience has developed a new, highly scalable depression treatment that has the potential to completely change the way the world treats mental health.

Our headset is already being used by the NHS, over 900 private clinicians and 55k users across 33 countries.

The data from these users, our own clinical trial, and extensive research in the scientific literature indicates that 57% of people that use Flow will be depression‑free after ten weeks, and over two thirds will have an improvement in their symptoms.

We’re backed by leading VCs (Khosla Ventures) and have raised over $25m to date.

About the Role

As our Accounting Manager, you will be our central point of financial control, fully owning our accounting function and shaping the financial health of our growing organization. • Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
    • Lead the month‑end close process and produce management reporting for leadership and external stakeholders.
    • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards (eg IFRS, GAAP) across all entities.
  • Financial Operations:
    • Oversee day‑to‑day accounting operations, including AP, AR, cash, inventory, and the general ledger.
    • Implement and maintain strong internal controls and accounting policies.
    • Partner with external auditors and lead audit preparation and documentation.
  • Tax & Compliance:
    • Ensure compliance with corporate tax, VAT, payroll taxes, and other statutory requirements.
    • Manage tax filings and support tax audits.
  • Supporting the Business:
    • Partner with the business to manage budgets and spend.
    • Lead the implementation of our ERP across our four legal entities.
    • Shape the tools and processes used across the business to set our financial systems up to scale.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Qualified accountant (eg CPA, ACA, ACCA) with 5+ years of post‑qualified experience.
  • Proficiency in financial software (eg ERP systems, financial modelling); experience using Xero is a plus.
  • Experience in a scaling or fast‑moving environment preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and a proactive, ownership‑driven mindset.

Benefits of Working at Flow Neuroscience

  • Flexible working hours – we measure performance based on delivery, not on facetime.
  • Remote/hybrid working with at least 2 days a week in our London office.
  • Be part of a high‑growth startup at its early stage, with significant opportunities for impact and development.
  • Competitive salary and benefits package including healthcare and share options in Flow.

If you are a highly motivated financial professional who shares our vision of revolutionising mental healthcare, we encourage you to apply.
