About the role

As part of the MASH team, you’ll play a key role in screening referrals and making informed, timely decisions to ensure children and families receive the right support at the right time. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing high‑quality safeguarding decisions in line with statutory guidance
  • Working collaboratively with partner agencies to build a full picture of risk
  • Supporting and supervising MASH Officers (MASHOs), offering guidance and oversight
  • Contributing to team performance, ensuring compliance with statutory duties and KPIs
  • Making informed recommendations to protect and improve outcomes for children

What we’re looking for

  • Social Work England registered
  • Post‑qualified experience within children’s services (ideally MASH/front door)
  • Confident decision‑maker with strong safeguarding knowledge
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Eligible to work in the UK
  • Degree in Social Work (or equivalent)
