We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Qualified Social Worker (QSW) to join our Child & Family Help Team within the AFC framework, offering a competitive rate of £37.52 per hour on an Umbrella basis. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate professional looking to make a meaningful impact in the lives of children and families. You will play a vital role in providing support, guidance, and intervention to families in need, ensuring the safety and well-being of children.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting assessments to identify the needs and risks faced by children and families.
  • Developing and implementing tailored care plans in collaboration with families and other professionals.
  • Providing ongoing support and intervention to families, ensuring their engagement in the process.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation.
  • Participating in multi-agency meetings to promote a coordinated approach to safeguarding and welfare.

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized social work qualification (Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
  • Registration with Social Work England.
  • Proven experience in child protection and family support services.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with families and professionals.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a caseload effectively.
