Hybrid Sales Development & Sales Operations Associate
Location: Remote‐first (Manchester hub)
Ready to help reshape how some of the UK's biggest companies buy their energy? Join a fast‐growing scale‐up that's rewriting the rulebook and building a cleaner, smarter future for commercial power. We've already built the foundations — a trusted brand, a modern energy platform, and strong customer relationships — and now we're scaling fast. If you want to be part of something genuinely new (and actually important), this might just be your next move.
The Role
This is a hybrid role sitting right in the middle of our commercial engine — part Sales Development, part Sales Operations. Think of it as the perfect blend of people, process, data, and momentum. One day you'll be spotting new industrial energy buyers and qualifying leads; the next you'll be sharpening a proposal, logging insights from a sales call, or helping guide the team through our weekly sales rhythm. You'll work closely with Sales, Marketing, RevOps, Product and Markets — the full mix. If you want to understand how complex, high‐value B2B sales really work, this is where you'll learn it.
What You'll Do
You'll grow our pipeline and help keep the sales engine running smoothly. You'll:
- Collaborate with senior commercial leaders across Sales, Marketing, and Product.
- Identify and prioritise new prospects and broker partners.
- Keep Salesforce, Pardot, and Account Engagement clean, complete, and insightful.
- Reach out to potential customers via phone, email, and LinkedIn with smart, relevant messages.
- Support senior sales colleagues with notes, follow-ups, and proposal prep.
- Help run our weekly reporting and rhythm sessions to keep everyone aligned.
- Spot trends, gaps, and opportunities — and help us act on them.
About You
Maybe this is your second role, or maybe you're ready to jump into something faster-paced and more meaningful. You're likely:
- Confident with data and people
- Curious, organised, and eager to learn by doing
- Someone who likes structure but hates unnecessary bureaucracy
- Someone who sees things through and takes pride in doing work well
If you care about the future of clean energy and want to help major UK businesses make smarter, fairer choices — you'll fit right in.
What You'll Gain
A front-row seat to how large commercial energy deals come together, from first contact to signed contract. Direct exposure to experienced leaders across Sales, Ops, Marketing, and Product. Hands-on experience with Salesforce, sales cadence, and the data discipline that powers commercial performance. A launchpad for multiple future paths — Sales, RevOps, Customer Ops, or Marketing. Real impact: the work you do will materially move the company forward.
Why Join Us
We're small enough that everyone matters, but ambitious enough to change the system. We move fast, stay lean, and solve big problems together. You'll learn more in 12 months here than in five years at a corporate. We're remote‐first with a friendly Manchester hub, monthly all-company days in London, and the occasional customer visit. It's a rare chance to grow with a company building something genuinely new — and doing it properly.
