The Opportunity
We’re hiring a commercially driven Account Manager to join a growing business within the logistics sector, playing a critical role in driving sustainable revenue growth while protecting and expanding an existing customer base. This is a high-impact, hands-on role sitting at the intersection of Sales, Customer Services, and Finance - ideal for someone who thrives on structure, ownership, and accountability.
You’ll manage customer relationships end-to-end: developing new business, growing existing accounts, re-engaging dormant customers, and ensuring revenue is protected through disciplined follow-up, strong onboarding, and proactive credit awareness. The role rewards consistency, commercial thinking, and data-led execution.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Revenue Growth & Account Development
- Proactively grow revenue across new and existing logistics customers through structured account plans
- Identify upsell, cross-sell and expansion opportunities using activity, trend, and credit analysis
- Re-engage down-trading or inactive customers through targeted outbound call campaigns
- Convert stalled or lost quotes into active bookings by addressing root causes and re-positioning solutions
- Cross-Functional Alignment
- Work closely with Customer Services and Finance using a structured Sales–CS–Finance model
- Proactively manage customer ageing and debt exposure
- Align commercial activity with credit risk to protect margin and revenue
- Own weekly priority customer lists and ensure proactive engagement where activity has dropped
- Systems & Reporting
- Use HubSpot as the single source of truth for call cycles, pipeline, account activity, onboarding, and retention
- Maintain accurate, action-focused reporting that drives decisions and follow-up
