We’re looking for a motivated and ambitious Business Development Executive to join a growing company within the shipping and logistics sector. This is a full sales-cycle role where you’ll have real ownership of your pipeline—from prospecting through to closing and account development. Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to close and ongoing account management
- Identify and win new business opportunities within the assigned territory
- Conduct face-to-face client meetings across the West Midlands
- Build strong, long-term relationships with new and existing customers
- Understand client logistics needs and present tailored solutions
- Work towards and exceed KPI and revenue targets
- Maintain accurate records of pipeline activity and sales forecasts
What We’re Looking For
- Confident, personable, and professional communicator
- Motivated by targets, incentives, and career progression
- Ability to work independently and manage your own territory
- Experience working towards KPIs or targets (sales or non-sales backgrounds considered)
- Full UK driving licence (essential)
- A proactive and resilient mindset with a strong work ethic
- No prior sales or logistics experience is required—full training will be provided.
