Internal Recruitment Consultant

Location: London

Salary: £30,000 + Bonus

About the Role Our client is looking for an Internal Recruitment Consultant to join their growing Talent Acquisition team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organised, analytical, and proactive individual looking to build a career within internal recruitment. Working closely with hiring managers and recruiters, you will play a key role in identifying, engaging, and attracting exceptional talent across both UK and US teams.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys research, problem-solving, and communication. A significant part of your day may involve building sourcing projects on LinkedIn Recruiter, mapping talent markets, identifying target candidate pools, and developing creative approaches to engage high-quality passive talent.

Rather than focusing on sales targets, success in this role comes from your ability to understand hiring needs, conduct detailed talent research, build strong candidate pipelines, and create meaningful connections with prospective employees.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with hiring managers and the wider Talent Acquisition team to understand hiring requirements and business priorities.
  • Build and maintain talent pipelines for both immediate and future hiring needs.
  • Use LinkedIn Recruiter and other sourcing tools to identify and engage high-quality candidates.
  • Conduct market mapping and competitor research to identify talent pools and hiring opportunities.
  • Create personalised candidate outreach campaigns that encourage engagement and build interest in opportunities.
  • Support candidates throughout the recruitment process, ensuring a positive and professional experience.
  • Coordinate interviews and manage recruitment administration activities.
  • Maintain accurate candidate and recruitment data within the ATS.
  • Share market insights, sourcing strategies, and talent intelligence with the wider team.
  • Continuously develop sourcing techniques and contribute ideas to improve recruitment processes.

About You We're looking for someone who is naturally curious, detail-oriented, and enjoys both research and relationship-building.

You might be a recent graduate or have experience in recruitment, resourcing, administration, customer service, hospitality, fundraising, research, or another people-focused environment.

We're particularly interested in candidates who demonstrate:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • A proactive and self-motivated approach to work.
  • An analytical mindset and enjoyment of research-based activities.
  • The ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
  • Confidence using technology and learning new systems.
  • A genuine interest in recruitment and talent acquisition.
  • A desire to build a long-term career within an internal recruitment function.

Previous recruitment or sourcing experience would be beneficial but is not essential.

What You'll Receive

  • £30,000 starting salary plus bonus.
  • Structured onboarding and comprehensive training.
  • Ongoing coaching and development from experienced Talent Acquisition professionals.
  • Clear progression into end-to-end recruitment roles.
  • Exposure to international hiring across the UK and US.
  • A collaborative, supportive, and high-performing team environment.
  • Regular team events and recognition initiatives.

Why Apply?

This is an opportunity to join a successful internal Talent Acquisition team where success is driven by curiosity, research, strategic sourcing, and relationship-building. You'll gain exposure to a broad range of business functions, develop specialist recruitment skills, and play a key role in helping the organisation attract and retain exceptional talent.
