Overview

Graduate Sales Associate

£30,000 Base Salary + £30,000 OTE | Uncapped Commission | Fast-Track Career Progression

Just finished university and looking for a career where hard work gets rewarded? Maybe you're fascinated by healthcare, pharmaceuticals, life sciences, or medical innovation. You enjoy meeting people, building relationships, and setting ambitious goals. If you're competitive, resilient, and motivated by success, this could be the perfect first step into a high-growth sales career.

We are looking for ambitious graduates to join our commercial team as Sales Associates, helping connect leading pharmaceutical and healthcare organisations with innovative marketing and educational solutions. This isn't a role where you'll spend years waiting for your next opportunity. Our top performers can progress into a full Account Executive role within 12-18 months, taking ownership of their own clients, running the sales process end-to-end, and significantly increasing their earning potential.

What’s In It For You?

  • £30,000 basic salary
  • £60,000 OTE in Year 1
  • 3% commission on every deal that closes from meetings you book
  • Clear progression to Account Executive within 12-18 months
  • Structured training and ongoing coaching
  • Work in a growing business within the healthcare and pharmaceutical space
  • Learn commercial sales skills that will benefit your entire career
  • Be recognised and rewarded for performance

Responsibilities

As a Sales Associate, you'll be responsible for generating opportunities that fuel the wider sales team. You'll identify target companies, engage senior decision-makers and secure high-quality meetings that turn into revenue.

  • Researching and identifying target pharmaceutical, healthcare and life sciences organisations
  • Speaking with senior stakeholders across multiple channels including phone, email and LinkedIn
  • Building relationships and uncovering business challenges
  • Booking qualified meetings for the sales team
  • Working closely with Account Executives on target accounts and campaign strategy
  • Managing activity accurately within the CRM
  • Learning the commercial landscape of different therapy areas and healthcare markets
  • Contributing ideas, testing new messaging and continually improving your approach

No two days are the same. One day you might be discussing a major industry congress with a global pharmaceutical company; the next, helping generate opportunities with a fast-growing biotech business.

Ideal Background / Qualifications

We'd love to hear from people with degrees or interests in:

  • Biomedical Science
  • Pharmacology
  • Life Sciences
  • Healthcare
  • Business
  • Marketing
  • Psychology
  • Sports Science
  • Or any subject where you've demonstrated ambition and a strong work ethic

Previous sales experience is a bonus, but absolutely not essential.

Why This Role?

Most graduate jobs promise progression. This role offers a clear pathway. You'll receive structured training, ongoing coaching, real responsibility from day one, and the opportunity to build a lucrative career in sales within the healthcare and pharmaceutical sector. If you're ambitious, coachable, commercially minded and ready to start building your future, we'd love to hear from you.
