We're looking for an ambitious and commercially minded Business Development Representative to join a growing team within the workplace design, refurbishment, and commercial interiors sector. This role is ideal for someone who already has experience in business development, sales, recruitment, account management, or another client-facing commercial role and is looking to take the next step in their career. You'll play a key role in generating new business opportunities, engaging senior decision-makers, and building relationships with organisations looking to improve, relocate, or transform their workspaces. The Role

  • Identify and engage prospective clients through outbound calls, email campaigns, LinkedIn outreach, and networking activities.
  • Build relationships with key decision-makers including Managing Directors, Operations Directors, Facilities Managers, HR Leaders, and Office Managers.
  • Qualify opportunities and arrange meetings for senior members of the sales team.
  • Research target organisations and identify potential workplace, office relocation, refurbishment, or fit-out opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain a healthy sales pipeline through consistent business development activity.
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure a smooth handover of qualified opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate records and activity updates within the CRM system.
  • Consistently achieve and exceed activity, meeting, and pipeline targets.

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience in a Business Development Representative, Sales Development Representative, Recruitment Consultant, Account Executive, Telesales, or similar sales-focused role.
  • Confident communicator with the ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders.
  • Strong relationship-building and networking skills.
  • Resilient, proactive, and motivated by achieving targets.
  • Excellent organisational and time-management abilities.
  • Professional, consultative, and commercially aware approach.
  • Experience working in construction, property, facilities management, professional services, technology, or recruitment would be advantageous but is not essential.
