As a Head Dental Nurse, your responsibilities will include
- Leading, supervising, and supporting the dental nursing team
- Assisting clinicians with a wide range of dental procedures
- Ensuring CQC, HTM 01-05 and cross infection standards are maintained
- Managing clinical stock, equipment, and surgery preparation
- Supporting rota planning and day-to-day organisation of the nursing team
- Providing guidance, mentoring, and training to junior team members
- Maintaining accurate patient records and ensuring compliance with GDC standards
- Delivering exceptional patient care and helping create a positive patient experience
- Required Skills & Experience
- GDC registered Dental Nurse
- Previous leadership or senior dental nursing experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of cross infection control and compliance standards
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Positive, professional, and patient-focused approach
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
