Flourish are recruiting for a SaaS provider in the West Midlands that are expanding their commercial team and looking to appoint a confident and driven Business Development Manager (BDM). This role is ideal for someone who is hungry to succeed in sales, enjoys being out in the field, and wants to develop strong commercial and business acumen by working closely with experienced sales leaders.
As a BDM, you will be responsible for identifying and creating new revenue opportunities while building lasting relationships with prospective clients. You will play a key role at the top of the sales funnel and will have the opportunity to shadow senior sales professionals, gaining exposure to how complex deals are managed and closed.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Proactively targeting new business via cold calling, door knocking, and outbound activity
- Building strong relationships with decision-makers
- Opening, qualifying, and developing sales opportunities
- Booking and attending meetings with prospective clients
- Working alongside senior sales team members to support deal progression and closure
- Managing and updating CRM activity
- Acting as a professional ambassador for the business in the field
