About the team

The media team is responsible for delivering news and insights on the global mobile technology industry to its subscriber base of 188k readers. Through the Mobile World Live brand, the team provides products and services to technology companies, generating revenue across editorial, operations, and sales groups.

About the role

The Media Project Coordinator plays a key role in delivering high‑quality client projects, working closely with operations, editorial, marketing and sales teams. This role coordinates multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met, resources are aligned, and delivery standards remain consistently high. The role also involves managing relationships with clients, suppliers, freelance writers, and agency partners, monitoring project progress and escalating any issues that may affect delivery or commercial performance.

In addition, the coordinator is responsible for supporting the delivery of commercial and editorial video projects, including schedule coordination and ensuring a smooth and timely delivery of content at major events such as MWC Barcelona and other events throughout the year. The role also supports digital media projects delivered through the Mobile World Live website, including webinars, online interviews, features, surveys and reports.

Duties

  • Coordinate multiple client projects simultaneously, overseeing all phases from planning to delivery.
  • Maintain accurate team calendars and communicate schedules to all stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure timely and high‑quality deliverables.
  • Update project reporting regularly.
  • Provide support on website updates and newsletter emails as required.

Qualifications and skills

  • Experience with email marketing tools (Salesforce Marketing Cloud) is an advantage.
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects.
  • Teamwork and collaboration skills.
