We are recruiting for a Dental Therapist to join a well-established, fully private dental clinic based in Ellesmere. This opportunity is available on a permanent basis, working 2 days per week (Wednesdays and Thursdays), offering excellent earning potential and a strong, established patient base. This role is ideal for a Dental Therapist seeking a supportive, family-run practice with the opportunity to grow private income and develop additional treatments.

You must be GDC registered as a Dental Therapist, have UK dentistry experience, and hold the right to work in the UK. Sponsorship is not available for this position.

Working as a Dental Therapist offers you:

Required Skills & Experience for this Dental Therapist role:

  • Fully qualified and GDC registered Dental Therapist
  • Valid DBS or willingness to obtain one
  • Proven UK experience delivering hygiene and therapy treatments in a private, mixed, or NHS setting
  • Strong commitment to high clinical standards and patient care
  • Confident delivering periodontal therapy and preventive treatments

As a Dental Therapist, your responsibilities may include:

  • Delivering high-quality hygiene and therapy treatments in a private setting
  • Managing a well-maintained and established patient list
  • Providing excellent patient care and building long-term relationships
  • Supporting patients with oral health education and preventive care
  • Offering and developing additional private treatments where appropriate
  • Maintaining accurate and compliant clinical records
  • Working collaboratively with dental nurses and the wider team

This is an excellent opportunity to join a friendly, family-run practice with a highly trained and supportive team. The current nurses are exceptionally skilled, with additional training in radiography, impressions, and oral health education, ensuring you are fully supported in delivering high-quality care.

You will be taking over a well-established patient list from a long-standing clinician who is relocating, providing immediate stability and earning potential. The practice also benefits from a strong marketing team, helping to drive patient demand and support growth in additional treatments.

The practice is ideally looking for a candidate to start in June. This role is based in Ellesmere and is easily commutable from surrounding areas including Oswestry, Shrewsbury, Wrexham, Whitchurch, Market Drayton, Telford, and Chester.
