We are recruiting for a Dental Therapist to join Newport Dental Practice, a well-established mixed NHS and Private dental practice. This opportunity is available on a permanent basis, offering 2 to 3 days per week with excellent private earning potential and flexibility to suit your commitments. This role is suitable for a Dental Therapist seeking a stable, supportive practice with opportunities to grow both NHS and private income.
You will need to be registered with the GDC as a Dental Therapist, have experience working direct access, have UK work experience as a Dental Therapist, and have the right to work in the UK. Sponsorship is not available for this position.
Working as a Dental Therapist offers you:
- 2 to 3 days per week (flexible to suit your schedule)
- Practice hours 9:00am – 5:00pm (flexibility available)
- Working on either an hourly basis or a UDA rate
- Mixed NHS and Private role

Required Skills & Experience for this Dental Therapist role:
- Fully qualified and GDC registered Dental Therapist
- Valid DBS or willingness to obtain one

As a Dental Therapist, your responsibilities may include:
- Delivering high-quality NHS dental treatments within the scope of a Dental Therapist
- Managing and maintaining a consistent clinical diary
- Providing excellent patient care and communication
- Maintaining accurate and compliant clinical records
- Working collaboratively with dental nurses and wider practice staff
- Adhering to NHS guidelines, CQC standards and clinical governance
Practice hours are 9:00am – 5:00pm, offering a structured working day with flexibility to support childcare and personal commitments.
