We are currently recruiting Secondary Supply Teachers with QTS, regardless of subject specialism, who are open to delivering lessons across a range of subjects. We are working in close partnership with several secondary schools across Worcester and the surrounding areas, who are seeking flexible teachers to provide both day‑to‑day and long‑term cover. This Secondary Supply Teacher role is perfect for someone with any QTS Secondary specialism who is happy to cover a variety of subjects. As a Secondary Supply Teacher (QTS), you will enjoy a fantastic work‑life balance while gaining experience in different classrooms. Whether you are an experienced educator or an Early Career Teacher (ECT), this opportunity provides variety, flexibility, and support.

Job Role of a Secondary Supply Teacher

  • Deliver engaging lessons across Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4) following the National Curriculum
  • Cover a range of subjects as a flexible Supply Teacher within a Secondary School environment
  • Maintain excellent behaviour management and classroom control
  • Adapt quickly to different school settings and student needs
  • Support pupils’ academic progress and engagement
  • Collaborate with school staff to ensure a positive learning environment

Required Skills and Experience

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Early Career Teacher (ECT)
  • Experience working as a Secondary Supply Teacher, Cover Supervisor, or Subject Teacher
  • Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum across KS3 and KS4
  • Excellent subject knowledge across at least one specialism
  • Proven excellent behaviour management skills
  • Passion for teaching in a Secondary School setting
  • Ability to adapt and deliver lessons confidently across subjects

Working as a Flexible Secondary Supply Teacher (QTS) for Flourish Education also offers you other excellent benefits, including:

  • £130 to £220 day rate, which equates to £25,350 to £42,900 per annum based on working 5 days a week for a full school year
